This morning a fire broke out in the Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh where CAM supports a medical clinic. It's difficult to tell exactly how many shelters were destroyed, but likely over 600. Two people were killed. Fires can easily break out in these camps since most of the cooking is done with propane gas cylinders, and the shelters are tightly-packed structures of bamboo and tarps. Please pray for these refugees who are once again without a home.
Leprosy is a dreadful condition that has affected families in South Asia for generations. Here are a few stories we just received about lepers CAM contacts are helping:

Though plagued with leprosy, Tejhal is a powerful soldier in the Kingdom. Baptized in 1985 he consistently wakes up at 3 a.m. and spends 3 hours praying that many tribes would come to personally know Jesus. He continues his prayer routine for three hours at 6 p.m.

Leprosy has claimed Mintoo's body but not his soul! Mintoo is a bold and powerful witness for the Lord. Using his talent, he sings on the street to passing crowds. Singing relevant songs and preaching to all who listen, God is using this faithful brother in mighty ways.

May this remind us that God can use anyone regardless of the circumstances they find themselves in.

Thank you for ALL you have done for the cause of Christ in 2024.

You played a part in:

-Giving help to needy widows crying out to God for help.
-Providing Bibles for people who have never had one.
-Rescuing children from terrible situations.
-Pointing people to the Lord through literature, teaching, and billboards.
-Feeding the hungry.
-And much more!

Wishing each of you God‘s blessing, grace, and leading in 2025!

This morning a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Tibet region of China.
According to Chinese state media, at least 95 people were killed and more than 1,000 homes destroyed. Due to the restricted nature of Tibet, it's unlikely that CAM will be able to be involved in a relief effort, but we request prayer for these people, especially as nighttime temperatures dip below 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

A number of wildfires are burning in the Los Angeles area of southern California. Since January 7, the Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst fires have burned more than 38,000 acres and 12,300+ homes according to figures released by Cal Fire.

The California Rapid Response Team has been in communication with different individuals and pastors in the Los Angeles area. Several team members, a chaplain, and a contact person traveled to the area today to meet with contacts. They will also be researching food serving and chaplain ministry opportunities.

Please pray for:
- The California Rapid Response team and RR Management as they research opportunities to help.
- The homeowners who suddenly lost their homes in the fire.
- Those evacuated from the fire zones, with uncertainty of what will happen to their homes.
- Chaplains as they look for ways to reach out to evacuees.
This cold weather reminds us to pray for the elderly, the handicapped, those in war-torn regions, and families with economic difficulties in the freezing climates of Eastern Europe. Recipients from Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, and other countries are grateful for the firewood, blankets, comforters, and food parcels that supporters have generously helped provide. We desire that the love of Jesus will warm the hearts of those in need.
