Chuck Schumer said he will tee up a floor vote for Wednesday on advancing a Democrat-drafted overhaul of U.S. election laws.

The “Freedom to Vote Act” would create an automatic voter registration system through each state’s motor vehicle agency, make Election Day a public holiday and provide voters with at least 15 days of early voting for federal elections. It also lets voters use a number of types of identification cards and documents, which can be either hard copies or in digital form.

My wife works at Denver International Airport. C Terminal, restaurant. Yesterday the owner (of 5 restaurants in the C terminal) said they have until Nov. 1st to get the vaccine or they will be fired. Today none of the cooks, dishwashers, bussers, and hosts showed up at any of the restaurants to work. So there was no restaurants open in C Terminal. The owner will be fined for not having food service operations open. He immediately sent an email reversing the vaccine mandate.
