Overexpression of TMEM16A, as the protein is named, occurs in about 30 per cent of head and neck cancers and is linked to lower survival odds. 

Promising test results on chicken eggs and mice have now led to plans for a trial of the cheap pill on human cancer patients.”

I have received a few questions about why comments are deleted from the chat.

First, I fully support free speech and do not delete comments, even if I disagree with them. However when you run a Telegram channel with a decent subscriber base you get flooded with bots and spam which needs to be managed, otherwise the comments section gets full of garbage and becomes unusable. This is a Telegram-wide issue which I hope gets addressed soon, but in the interim I have scripts set up which look for these nefarious comments and delete them in an automated fashion.

To-date I have removed over 7,800 of these accounts from the channel. Occasional a valid comment will get picked up by a script and deleted, but I do my best to minimize that from happening and send my apologies for anyone this has happened to!

Again, I encourage all comments and hopefully this helps explain the seemingly peculiar things that happen in the chat. Thank you all for helping to grow this channel into what it is today!! 🙏
