Blake Garrett died in Oklahoma Sunday - a week after he was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with shingles. Garrett, from Austin, Texas, played Plug in the 2006 flick ‘How to Eat Fried Worms.'

A post on his social media account read: "Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning. He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace."
