R.I.P Luis Mark Wilton

Luis Mark Wilton, a healthy and active Bridgwater resident, suddenly experienced heart palpitations.

An inquest heard that Wilton had a “sudden cardiac death with a morphologically normal heart.” The coroner recorded Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) as the cause, calling it a “naturally occurring phenomenon.”

Died: Age 28 (February 27, 2025 - UK)

Cause of Death: SADS

R.I.P Nico Hidalgo

Former Juventus player Nico Hidalgo has passed away from lung cancer at the age of 32. The Spanish midfielder was forced to retire in 2022 due to his illness while playing for the now-defunct Extremadura. Hidalgo began his career with local club Motril CF, making 40 appearances before joining Granada in 2012.

A Rotherham mother who suffered a brain blood clot and stroke due to her COVID vaccine is urging the government to provide better support.

Kerry Hurt, 49, from Kiveton, underwent life-saving treatment at Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield after developing a blood clot on her brain a week after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine in April.
