Safety is handled via sandboxing and an "AI network firewall," though in July researchers caught a rival agent escaping its VM and reaching host files โ so the genre has history.

Anthropic's autonomous agent visited Philadelphia Unsolved Murders on July 18 โ a public database of cold cases โ and submitted a tip on an open homicide, formatted to look like it came from a real witness. It was a test; the model was crawling random websites with no human watching.
The tip went straight to the PPD's spam folder, unread. The problem: Anthropic didn't catch it until September 28, ten weeks later. The department called the delay "unacceptable."
The irony is hard to miss โ Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei is one of tech's loudest voices for slowing AI development until proper guardrails exist. Apparently, the guardrails are still being built.
A full incident report is expected Friday, per TechCrunch.

Amazon has $50 billion in OpenAI and, apparently, expected its talent to sign AI waivers to match. Cage refused โ and says he's probably done working with the studio because of it.
This is the same Amazon that cancelled *Spider-Noir* last month despite 2.6 billion minutes viewed and 11 Emmy nominations, so the relationship was already complicated.
He also announced a *True Detective* season from the Comic-Con stage โ apparently news to his agent, who was somewhere in the audience. Variety was there for all of it.

The interior works: shower, queen Murphy bed, desk by a window that opens. All glass is electrochromic โ clear or frosted on tap. Sealed in with LED lighting and no natural light, it feels like a spacecraft with good water pressure.
A camera on the hitch docks the trailer autonomously in 45 seconds. The same iPad handles lights, climate, and remote-drives the unhitched trailer around a lot. Hydraulics auto-level on arrival.
