Ipswich Town are expected to make an official offer to Chelsea for Omari Hutchinson, who has not made a definitive decision over his future. A permanent move away from Chelsea is a serious option for the winger.

There is an expectancy that a bid from Ipswich is imminent as Kieran McKenna is a huge admirer of Hutchinson’s talents, having worked with him last season.

Interest from Stuttgart and Ajax seems to have cooled recently, and at the moment, Ipswich look to be the front-runners in the race to sign the winger but will try to drive Chelsea’s asking price of around £30m down as much as they can.

There have been some suggestions that the Tractor Boys will offer around £20m as an initial bid.
