Defence Index broke out and reached the resistance in one day itself, might take some pause here.

Did a quick study between Defence and Railway Sector.

This is how the Custom Defence Index looked like a few days ago on April 15th.

Tight consolidation and break out looked eminent.

Today the break out came and now the index looks like this.

Now compare how the defence index looked like 15 days ago with this chart, This is the Railways Custom Index, how it looks today.

Same tight consolidation, but trend line break out is pending. in Defence index the trend line break out had happened.

I feel Railways will again take some time in consolidation and give a decent break out following the Defence Sector style.

But for people thinking which Railways stock to enter. IRCON? IRFC? IRCTC? TITAGARH? RVNL?

I feel rather than make individual positions since some consolidation is still pending it would be best to start SIPing in the Railway ETF GROWWRAIL
