Good evening everyone! There are really twists and turns in the stock market!

Malaysian market is the worst performing market in 2019 an the main reasons are mainly because of

(1) market sentiment deteriorated,
-political uncertainties
-U.S.-China trade war escalates in 2019

(2) Poor macro data statistics
-Suffered by external adverse factors of trade conflict
-weakening of palm oil prices
-Weak earnings for Malaysian companies (mainly those companies who focus on domestic revenue)

(3) Dim earnings outlook
-The profitability of Malaysian companies has been declining,
-Earnings estimates are significantly reduced
-Dim profit prospects further reduce investor appetite

It was originally intended to revitalize the Malaysian stock market in 2020, but was disturbed by the Corona virus, and after everything is coming to calm down a little, the internal political issues came to a shock and stumbled the stock markets hardly due to uncertainties! However, my personal opinion I believes that no matter how, Malaysia's main economic revitalization and to attract foreign investment are still relying on large-scale construction projects because whoever become the next government work still has to be done and to be better! The only results are to show the improvement of economy! By stimulating the economy with large construction projects only then the foreign investors can be attracted! Therefore, construction companies are still in favored such as GAMUDA, ECONBHD, EKOVEST, GADANG, GDB and others

At present, the construction sector is still being underestimated, and a series of factors have caused it but I do believe we can slowly see a revival in Q2 2020 if everything can be stabilise! Of course, based on the trend of these two days, the current leader GAMUDA rebounded 3% today after a big fall of 11.8% with volume transacted of 41M yesterday but the transaction volume was only 11M today (even less than half of yesterday). Do make sure your risk management is well managed here!
