What is a Chart?

A chart shows how the price of a stock moves with time.
It helps traders see where price is going โ€“ up, down, or sideways.

In trading, we mostly use Candlestick Charts.
Each candle tells a story of price โ€“ how high it went, how low, and where it closed.

If you can read charts, you can understand the market.
This is the first skill every trader should learn.

A candlestick shows price movement during a time period (like 1 minute, 5 minutes, 1 day).

It has 4 parts:

Open: Where the price started

Close: Where the price ended

High: The top price it touched

Low: The lowest price it went

Green candle = price went up
Red candle = price went down

Candles tell us who is stronger โ€” buyers or sellers.
