Hi! My name is Yafet, but my gamer tag is Morph (DotA & CoD). Thank you for joining, I’m truly honored.
A little about me: I’m a CS major and have been in the game for almost a decade. It’s been 90% corporate: my first gig was doing embedded systems programming, the second was working on OpenEDX for an edtech nonprofit, the third was working for the government on... well, a lot (we’ll talk about it :)), and my last full-time job was at Fayda as overlord of the engineering team.
Now, I work on different projects mostly remote. I’m an MLOps guy/everything person and I started a podcast called Devtopia with Frectonz.
I also have an unhealthy obsession with film cameras and vintage watches.
So thank you for joining my channel, and thanks to those of you who asked me to create one. Let there be posts!

This is one of the best if not the best events I've gone to. This is coming from someone who is not comfortable with cameras. In most gatherings, you have to know your audience. Here, I just had to be me. There are not a lot of places where you can talk about the nerdy and technical stuff about the things you love building and what's going on in the back of your company/projects, and people get it!
Not only that, but having insights from the wonderful people at the event was great. Here is my message to y'all: seeing what I see, people are here to celebrate what you're building. There has never been a time like this before; your community is here to support whatever you're building, and this is proof. Thanks @Dagmawi_Babi for letting me be a part of this!
