To everyone who has staked with CerberusNode please unstake your $Prove. Unstaking takes 14 days to complete. If you start today, your unstake will finish right around when our changes take effect.

We will be making updates starting 00:00 UTC on August 17, which will be applied at 00:00 UTC on August 30. By unstaking now, you’ll be able to stake again on the new Provers wallet address right after the changes, and everything will continue as normal.

We are pleased to announce the new prover wallet address for CerberusNode. After thorough preparation, we are moving forward earlier than planned, as our setup has been completed successfully ahead of schedule.

The most recent staker rewards have already been distributed. As a gesture of appreciation, additional PROVE will also be sent to those who previously supported our old prover.

The Aztec team discovered a serious configuration error on the current testnet.
Specifically:
The minimumVotes parameter was set incorrectly:
→ It should require 200,000 tokens per node, but in reality the testnet only has 200 tokens as the trigger threshold for the sequencer.

In addition, the governance contract being used is an old version, which does not allow voting with unstaken tokens.
Consequences:

- Not enough stake to pass any proposal.

- The network is completely stopped (halted) and cannot recover quickly.

Solution: The team will reset the entire testnet, re-initialize a new network with parameters identical to the upcoming mainnet configuration, to fully test the entire process.

Expected time: around the middle of next week.
