How To Manually Setup Celo Blockchain On MetaMask

A. Setup

1. Make sure to have MetaMask installed on Mobile or as an extension on chrome.
2. I’d suggest creating a new one if you haven’t done so. To create a wallet on MetaMask click on Create Wallet and remember to copy and save your 12 words Seed Phrase.
3. If you already have an existing wallet; click on Import Wallet.

Note: You need your 12 your seed phrase to use the Import Wallet option!

And Finally, if You choose to use Trust Wallet

1. Open Trust Wallet, and then click on the "slider-like button" at the top right corner.
2. Scroll down to the end and click on "Add Custom Token".
3. Change the network to "CELO" - If you can't find it, then you need to update your Trust Wallet.
4. Add the following details respectively;

Contract Address: 0x49B8990F14C0b85f528d798Fc618B97bc3299C35
Name: CeloDogeX
Symbol: cDOGEx
Decimals: 9

3. Press "Save". The Celo network you just configured should now show up under MetaMask's "Networks" dropdown list.
