The KelVPN team had a very active October, they did a lot. But the main thing is that KelVPN routers are now available for pre-order in the Cellframe Shop! 🔸

KelVPN Project Updates for October!

🍂 Mobile App
● Updated the company address in the Privacy Policy section.
● Fixed a client freeze issue during long authorization requests.
● Actively preparing for the release of the new app version.

🍂 Console Version
We're continuing development on the headless version, which began back in August.
● Fixed service crashes when calling the -D CLI command.
● Corrected key history output.
● Resolved an issue with exiting the version request command after execution.

🍂 What Else?
● Developed prototypes of KelVPN hardware solutions, including standalone VPN devices that connect to user routers, as well as 2-in-1 devices that combine both router and VPN functions.
● Launched KelVPN Wiki! Here, you’ll find comprehensive project information and user guides.
● Updated the recommended validator fee, now set to 1 KEL per transaction.
● And the big news: In October, we successfully beta-tested KelVPN’s two-way bridge with Ethereum and BSC. Just two days ago, the bridge went live and is now fully operational!

The Two-Way Bridge Mode: a new step toward convenience and security! With it, you can easily transfer CELL and KEL tokens between BEP-20, ERC-20, and CF-20 networks. We’re excited to share some key features of using the Cellframe Bridge!

🪐 Let’s start with the benefits guaranteed by the two-way bridge mode:
● Cross-chain transfers in all directions. You can now move tokens between the Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Cellframe Network blockchains in all directions.
● Automatic network switching. No more manual network switching in Metamask and TrustWallet. When creating a transaction, all necessary details are automatically pulled from the bridge site.
● Transparent fee display. The total transaction fee is automatically calculated and displayed on the bridge site before confirming your transaction.
● Multi-network support. You now have the option to send CELL and KEL tokens not only from the main Cellframe network — Backbone, but also from KelVPN’s own network!

🪐 To transfer CF-20 tokens to BEP-20 or ERC-20, just follow a few simple steps:
1. Connect your Trust Wallet or Metamask wallet to the Cellframe Bridge site.
2. Select the CF-20 network under “From”.
3. Connect the Cellframe Dashboard to the Cellframe Bridge (the latest version of Cellframe Dashboard can be downloaded here).
4. Specify the wallet that holds your CELL and KEL tokens.
5. Choose the target network for withdrawal — ERC-20 or BEP-20.
6. Enter the amount of tokens you want to transfer.
7. Click “Send tokens” and monitor notifications in your Cellframe Dashboard!

A transaction fee is applied to each transfer made through the  two-way bridge. This fee consists of a percentage of the transferred amount and a fixed fee, which varies based on the withdrawal network. The bridge fees are as follows:
CF-20 → BEP-20:
0.25% + 5 CELL
0.25% + 200 KEL

CF-20 → ERC-20:
0.25% + 20 CELL
0.25% + 400 KEL

Please note that the full fee also includes validator and native network fees, so the final amount may be slightly higher than indicated.

🚀 The new release of Cellframe Dashboard 3.0-74 is now available for download!

A reminder that Cellframe Dashboard and Cellframe Node are separate now.
The supported node version for the new release is 316.

We’re continuously enhancing the app to make it even more user-friendly and functional. The 3.0-74 update brings a wealth of improvements!

✅ Feature Expansion and Optimization:
● Set a 150-transaction limit in history for faster data updates.
● Added a popup notification after exporting a certificate from private to public.
● Reduced unnecessary node requests to boost performance.
● Moved history and mempool requests to JSON-RPC for improved reliability.
● Refactored the data transmission mechanism over the RPC channel.

✅ Fixes and Improvements:
● Resolved issues with LP staking and bridge transactions on MacOS.
● Updated transaction display in the Backbone network.
● Changed “Import wallet” to “Restore wallet” on the wallet page for clarity.
● Corrected status indicators when the node service is disconnected.
● Added accurate node version display on the Settings page.
● Fixed the issue with displaying all pairs on the DEX page.
● Fixed a bug causing rapid log growth when cellframe-diagtool is off.
