Great news! We have completed the upgrade of the bridge smart contracts for the Cellframe bridge and transferred all liquidity from the old contracts to the new ones.
This upgrade was part of our preparations for the launch of the bridge's two-way mode. When developing new contracts, we took into account previous experience and improved the functionality of automatic unlocking of funds. The updated bridge will work even faster and more stable!π«

In developing the Cellframe project, we also strive to increase the level of blockchain decentralization. Therefore, we are introducing a limit on the maximum weight of a validator β no more than 3% of the total weight of all network validators. Anything beyond this limit will not be considered when signing blocks and distributing rewards.
What this means: the weight is determined by the number of m-tokens delegated for launching a masternode. The total weight of the masternodes is the sum of all m-tokens locked by the network validators. The 3% of this value is calculated automatically, and any changes are also automatically recalculated. Information about the current weight of the masternodes in percentage terms is displayed in the list of network validators. If the weight exceeds the set limit, the validator can withdraw the 'excess' part of their m-tokens. These can then be used to launch another masternode or delegated to another validator to maintain their income.
We remind you that for questions regarding the launch and operation of masternodes, you can always contact Cellframe technical support specialists.
Thank you for being with us!

Quantum technologies are rapidly evolving and could pose a serious threat to existing cryptosystems. The issue of the quantum threat is being discussed at a global level, but many crypto market players still underestimate the risks. At Cellframe, however, we are already prepared for the future.
Weβll explain how the flexibility of our platform can provide protection against quantum risks.
π Cryptography is the foundation of any blockchain's security, but traditional encryption algorithms are reliable only in familiar conditions. With the advancement of quantum technologies, their protection will become useless, and implementing post-quantum algorithms in existing blockchains is technically very difficult (almost impossible).
We have not only taken care of implementing post-quantum signatures in advance but have also designed the platform's architecture to easily change its cryptography β removing outdated or compromised algorithms and adding new ones.
For users, this means they can choose their own algorithms for signing transactions or even use a combination of them β a so-called multisignature, which significantly enhances security.
A multisignature uses several algorithms at once. If one of the signatures is compromised, the others in the chain will still guarantee encryption protection. This provides multi-layered security that is unavailable in traditional systems.
π Currently, the following algorithms are available on the Cellframe platform: CRYSTALS-Dilithium, Falcon, SPHINCS, and Shipovnik.
We support all promising and standardized post-quantum algorithms that ensure quantum resilience and always keep track of technological developments.
π The quantum apocalypse is a real threat, but with Cellframe, you are ready for any challenge. Protect your future with us!

How to use your CELL tokens: income opportunities
If you donβt want to just hold onto your tokens, you have several attractive options for putting them to work.
β‘οΈ Staking Program
Staking is like a bank deposit, but in the blockchain world. By locking your tokens in staking, you can earn APY (annual percentage yield), which is similar to earning interest on deposits.
On the Cellframe staking site, several options are available:
β Single staking of CELL tokens. This is one of the simplest and most popular types of staking, where your CELL tokens are locked in the native Cellframe network. While the yield is relatively low, this type of staking is suitable for a wide range of users.
β LP Token Staking. LP tokens (liquidity pool tokens) are digital assets received by liquidity providers in exchange for funds deposited in pools on decentralized exchanges like UniSwap (ERC-20) and PancakeSwap (BEP-20).
By investing in trading pairs with CELL and receiving LP tokens, you can stake them on our staking site. These tokens will be locked in our smart contracts on the Ethereum or BSC networks, allowing you to earn not only liquidity pool fees but also income from LP staking. On average, APY for LP staking is higher than for single token staking.
We provided detailed information about the Cellframe staking program in this post, and you can also find more details in our Tokenomics 2.0.
β‘οΈ Running a Masternode
If you have at least 10,000 CELL locked in staking, you can increase your income by running a masternode. This requires m-tokens, which are distributed to stakers proportionally to the amount of funds locked: 1mCELL = 1,000 CELL.
We have prepared a guide for setting up a masternode β it's suitable for experienced users familiar with command-line operations. Weβve also recently added a tab for launching a masternode through the Cellframe Dashboard, making the process much simpler.
A masternode allows you to validate transactions, sign and add blocks to the blockchain, and participate in voting. Your income will consist of staking rewards as well as fees for transaction validation.
If youβre not ready to run a masternode on your own or lack sufficient funds, you can delegate your keys to other validators and still earn a share of the income.
You can find details on acquiring and using m-tokens in this post.
Choose the option that suits you best and start earning extra income!π
