Great news! We have completed the upgrade of the bridge smart contracts for the Cellframe bridge and transferred all liquidity from the old contracts to the new ones.

This upgrade was part of our preparations for the launch of the bridge's two-way mode. When developing new contracts, we took into account previous experience and improved the functionality of automatic unlocking of funds. The updated bridge will work even faster and more stable! 💫

📌 As you know, decentralization is an important feature and advantage of blockchain technology. It largely ensures the openness, transparency, and security of blockchain systems. This can be achieved in two ways: by increasing the number of masternodes and limiting the influence of a single validator on the network.

In developing the Cellframe project, we also strive to increase the level of blockchain decentralization. Therefore, we are introducing a limit on the maximum weight of a validator — no more than 3% of the total weight of all network validators. Anything beyond this limit will not be considered when signing blocks and distributing rewards.

What this means: the weight is determined by the number of m-tokens delegated for launching a masternode. The total weight of the masternodes is the sum of all m-tokens locked by the network validators. The 3% of this value is calculated automatically, and any changes are also automatically recalculated. Information about the current weight of the masternodes in percentage terms is displayed in the list of network validators. If the weight exceeds the set limit, the validator can withdraw the 'excess' part of their m-tokens. These can then be used to launch another masternode or delegated to another validator to maintain their income.
