🔊 Cellframe Dashboard Update 2.12-68!

What’s new:

📌 Added a mechanism for translating the application into different languages. The translations themselves are now in preparation and will definitely appear in next updates.
📌 Implemented a mechanism to block requests on web 3 API. If desired, it can be enabled or disabled for each site through the Settings tab.

⚙️ The build includes node version 5.2-363 that fixes the problem of freezing network synchronization in win. Plus improved stability and fixed some crashes.

We will share more details about how everything went in upcoming posts. For now, we present to you a digest of our marketing activities for October. The month has been very busy - aside from preparing for the forum, we managed to accomplish many things.

We hosted two AMA sessions:

October 12th: our traditional livestream where "Demlabs" CEO and Cellframe project leader Dmitry Gerasimov discussed news and plans, and answered questions from our community.

October 19th saw a partnership AMA session with the blogger tuNNCay Crypto on the BinanceLive platform. The broadcast was viewed by more than 10,000 people! You can watch the recording here: https://www.binance.com/en/live/video?roomId=2157926

We participated in the NSUCRYPTO international cryptography olympiad (https://nsucrypto.nsu.ru/), where we acted as co-organizers and contributed to creating tasks. The online-format olympiad took place from October 15th to 23rd, with over 1100 students and specialists from 44 countries participating. The judging of the competition entries is currently underway, and the final results will be announced in December.

We entered into a partnership agreement with the HYVE project - a platform for crypto-freelancers. Cellframe will serve as HYVE's payment solution, ensuring fast and secure transactions.

We relaunched the "Demlabs" company website (https://demlabs.net/), having updated the design and content.

💥We measured the performance of different NIST-recommended post-quantum signatures on the average PC ((Memory - 5,8 GiB, Processor - Intel® Core™ i3-1115G4 @ 3.00ghz × 2, OS Name - Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS, OS Type - 64-bit).

The Falcon, CRYSTALS-Dilithium and SPHINCS+ algorithms were tested.
Two parameters were studied: transaction-signing speed and signature verification speed.

For testing, we ran a loop for 1000 iterations with the following steps:

🔻 creating a random message
🔻 signing this message
🔻 signature verification

⚠️Based on the testing results, we will be able to select the optimal node configuration for maximum performance.

For example, during testing, the SPHINCS+ algorithm performed worst of all. It's heavy and too slow, so we won't be adding support for it in our wallets.

But FALCON and CRYSTALS-Dilithium turned out to be quite fast. At the same time, FALCON is faster at verification, which means that if it is not inferior in security to CRYSTALS-Dilithium, then it will be preferable to use it.

✅ We have redesigned the logging mechanism and eliminated redundancy. Now, logs will take up less space and will be split into several small files, which provides greater ease of use
✅ Fixed an issue with the ticker token output in the history for unstake transactions
✅ Adjusted the layout in the Diagnostics tab
✅ Redesigned the network panel, updated statuses & added an intermediate one that displays the processing of a request in the node

Announcing an updated roadmap for the preparation of the two-way bridge launch 🚀

📣 From today onwards we will be reducing staking rewards by 2 times.
