🤓All blockchains are distributed databases in which changes are recorded as continuous chains of blocks. But the content contained in the blocks, as well as the actions of network members on each blockchain, depend on how the network is configured and what business goals are pursued.

Most often blockchains are divided into public and private categories, based on the availability of content within the network.

👌 Private blockchains are almost like classic centralized networks, because the main activities within them are completely controlled by their owners.

👌In public blockchains, any member may be given the right to read and conduct transactions, validate blocks and confirm the consensus algorithm.

Public blockchains are strongly associated with the cryptocurrency market, but their functionality is much broader.

📌 Due to the transfer of tokens to a new smart contact on Gate.io, deposits and withdrawals of the old $CELL token will be closed on November 22, 2022, 06:00 AM UTC. Deposit and withdrawal of the new $CELL BEP20 token will be available immediately after the migration is completed📌

During the waiting period, all operations with $CELL tokens on Gate.io in the BSC network will be suspended. Immediately after completion of the work, they will be restored in full.

👉 Stay in touch! We will promptly inform you about the end of the lockdown.

Note. After migration, Gate.io will no longer support deposits of old $CELL tokens, and will instead support input and output of new $CELL tokens.

☝️Sharding is a way of scaling databases by dividing them into independent segments (shards) in order to reduce the load on servers.

This separation helps to reduce the load on the nodes and increase the speed of transaction validation by dividing the overall task into small subtasks for different nodes.
As a result, nodes do not process all transactions on the network, but only those that occur in their shard👌
