πŸ“… Starting today, Node.sys team begins the full migration of CEX trading of NYS token to the quantum‑secure CF20 protocol. This is an important step to protect token holders’ funds in unsecured networks. Trading on the BEP20 protocol will remain available only on DEX.

πŸ’‘ We remind you that the NYS token is already trading on the CF20 protocol on Bitcointry exchange in the NYS/USDT pair. In addition, the CF20 protocol has been successfully implemented on BingX and Bitmart, and work is currently underway to launch CF20 on MEXC and Gate.

πŸ”„ Starting today, we are also migrating all CEX liquidity to the CF20 protocol and ending liquidity provision on the XT exchange, since this platform does not support the quantum‑secure CF20 protocol.

πŸ“ŒWe also remind you that staking of NYS token is also available only via CF20 protocol.

πŸ”Ί When we talk about the "quantum threat" to blockchains, the image that often comes to mind is a single day when everything collapses. A more likely scenario is not a sudden collapse, but a growing wave of incidents. It will start with isolated cases of "disappeared" funds from old wallets, followed by increasingly frequent hacks, and only then β€” realization and panic. It's important to understand: the primary target will not be the networks themselves or their consensus mechanisms, but users' wallets.

πŸ”˜The Essence of the Threat: An Attack on Your Keys, Not the Blockchain
The threat stems from the very mechanism of signing transactions. When you send coins for the first time, your public key is published on the blockchain. A regular computer would need billions of years to brute-force the corresponding private key. But a quantum computer running Shor's algorithm could potentially solve this problem in a feasible amount of time.

Crucially, the network itself will most likely continue to operate. Nodes will confirm blocks, validators will receive rewards. But every user whose public key has already been exposed could find themselves in the crosshairs. Transparency, one of the main advantages of an open blockchain, could in an instant become its greatest vulnerability.

πŸ”˜A Possible Scenario: From a Silent Epidemic to a Great Exodus
1. The Silent Phase. The first reports of "cold" wallet hacks appear on forums. The community often dismisses this as viruses or user error.
2. The Panic Phase. Analysts confirm the anomaly: funds are moving without their owners' involvement. A mass withdrawal of funds from vulnerable addresses begins. Transaction fees skyrocket, networks become congested. A price crash ensues.
3. The Reaction Phase. Exchanges may halt withdrawals to prevent a total liquidity crash. Developers of major vulnerable networks will announce emergency hard forks. A complex and risky migration process will begin, where every attempt to move funds using an old key creates a window for attack.

πŸ”˜A New Reality: A Re-evaluation of Principles
If such a scenario unfolds, it will force the industry to reconsider its foundations. The crisis will be systemic, and the wave of hysteria and panic in the market will affect all projects without exception. However, the consequences will be different.
β€’ Major giants will likely survive but face losses from an emergency transition to post-quantum cryptography, including costly hard forks, temporary instability, higher fees, and market share loss.
β€’ Projects prepared with PQC in advance gain a strategic advantage: no migration panic, stable operations, and stronger reputation. Tokens may dip temporarily, but their fundamental value remains solid.
β€’ Transparency will cease to be an unconditional good. Privacy-enhancing technologies like stealth addresses and zk-proofs may gain new recognition. The ability to hide a public key will come to be seen not just as a tool for confidentiality, but as a critically important security measure.
β€’ A new paradigm may emerge β€” "verifiable confidentiality" β€” where trust is ensured not by the total visibility of data, but by cryptographic proofs of its correctness.

πŸ”˜Cellframe: Preparing for Future Challenges in Advance
While many projects are only beginning to assess these risks, we at Cellframe have been proactive, considering them at the architecture design stage. We are not waiting for a hypothetical Q-Day to start acting β€” our users are already protected from the quantum threat.

And we are looking even further ahead. That's why we are actively researching and developing tools for anonymous cryptography for our SDK, to provide developers with the ability to create applications where security and privacy are foundational principles, not an afterthought.

Q-Day will most likely not mean the end of the blockchain industry as a whole. But it will serve as a kind of test of maturity and readiness for a future that is arriving faster than it seems. And Cellframe is ready for it today.

πŸ”Έ KelVPN News for November!

November was a packed month for KelVPN: a new listing, major progress on the app, and updated devices. Here are the highlights:

πŸ”˜New listing of KEL CF-20 on a CEX!
The project’s token is now also listed on the Bitcointry exchange. Trading officially launched on November 19, and the token is available for deposits and withdrawals.

πŸ”˜App updates (mobile, desktop, and CLI versions).
The team continues a large-scale overhaul of the app and is preparing a major feature update. Here’s what was completed in November:
β€’ A new VPN engine and a cross-platform architecture were developed, implementing all core connection stages: authentication, session setup, tunneling, and routing.
β€’ The service layer underwent refactoring: the bug-reporting system was updated, a new mechanism for storing serial keys was added, and key transfer to the GUI through the service and updated config files was improved.
β€’ Work continues on the collaboration mode: integration with Cellframe Wallet has begun. Basic commands have been outlined, and the interaction flow between the apps is being built.
πŸ“² You can download the latest version of the KelVPN app here.

πŸ”˜With growing attention to quantum security, we’ve disabled KEL withdrawals from CF-20 to ERC-20 and BEP-20: the Cellframe bridge now works only for deposits into CF-20.
Liquidity from PancakeSwap and UniSwap will be moved to Cellframe DEX after the API update.

πŸ”˜We also announced the new KelVPN Access Point Surf 1 router in November β€” an out-of-the-box Wi-Fi and VPN solution if you don’t already have a home router. You can also plug in a USB signal booster to expand coverage.

πŸ”Ί We’re excited to introduce the long-awaited Cellframe Wallet 4.4 release!

This update brings a new, interesting feature: Shared Funds.

πŸ”˜What are Shared Funds?
A Shared Wallet allows multiple participants to use a single shared account.
The owner creates the wallet and assigns participants who will sign transactions and/or have the ability to initiate withdrawals.

The feature is available across all application modes (Full, Light, and Local) in the wallet details section, which now includes two tabs: Tokens and Shared Funds. Support for Shared Funds on the node and SDK side was introduced in mid-October. With this release, the entire workflow is now available in the app: creating shared wallets, managing participants, handling deposits and withdrawals, and viewing account status and pending transactions that require signatures.

The public key, required to create Shared Funds and used to identify the owners of the shared account, is now also displayed.

πŸ”˜Version 4.4 also includes several additional improvements:
β€’ DEX improvements with an enhanced operation queue and strict data validation.
β€’ Increased stability of multi-signature functionality, including fixes for critical crashes related to multisig operations.
β€’ A fully redesigned node update system, featuring improved version-checking logic, proper redirect handling on macOS, better notifications, and more reliable behavior across different connection modes.
β€’ Critical bug fixes and crash resolutions, including HTTP-client errors, freezes, and issues related to connection closing.

Download Cellframe Wallet 4.4 now and explore all the new features!
