πͺ Continuing our Blockchain Life 2025 coverage
Previously we shared how our own side event, Post Quantum Dawn, went, and here we shared our impressions in video format. Now, weβre highlighting the industry trends we noticed while visiting various forum venues.
π Regulatory frameworks gaining momentum
Beyond the general push to establish legal foundations, weβre seeing a shift from abstract discussions to practical legal βworkaroundsβ. In the absence of unified laws, projects increasingly rely on court precedents and adapt existing financial regulations to legitimize their operations here and now.
π AI and anonymity as new drivers
AI integration has moved beyond hype and is now focused on optimization: itβs being used for smart contract audits, on-chain data analysis, and market trend predictions. At the same time, anonymity is emerging as a strong trend. In response to growing demand from both institutional players and regular users, zero-knowledge (ZK) technologies are coming to the forefront. ZK proofs are no longer niche, theyβre now a foundational solution for confidential transactions and data protection in DeFi and beyond.
π Tokenization of real-world assets (RWA)
Another key trend is the active tokenization of everything: from real estate and art to debt instruments. This approach opens new horizons for liquidity and investment, blurring the lines between traditional finance and the blockchain industry.
π Hardware solutions and protection against quantum threats
Blockchain Life traditionally brings together projects focused on cold wallets and other hardware solutions. This year was no exception, but notably, we observed a sharp increase in projects related to quantum security. More startups are now developing quantum-resistant hardware for crypto storage and other quantum-proof technologies.

Cross-chain transfers of CELL tokens between external networks (ERC-20 <-> BEP-20) are no longer available.
For CELL ERC-20 tokens, the Cellframe Bridge now supports only deposits (ERC-20 -> CF-20).
Deposits and withdrawals of CELL BEP-20 tokens continue to work as before (BEP-20 <-> CF-20).
All pending ERC-20 CELL transfers will soon be returned to the original sender addresses in CF-20 or BEP-20.
At the same time, we are actively expanding the presence of the native CF protocol in the market.
You can already trade quantum-secured CELL CF-20 tokens on several CEXs:
β’ BitMart
β’ BingX
β’ Bitcointry
Thank you for your continued support!
Stay tuned for updates so you donβt miss anything important

Starting today, Node.sys team begins the full migration of CEX trading of NYS token to the quantumβsecure CF20 protocol. This is an important step to protect token holdersβ funds in unsecured networks. Trading on the BEP20 protocol will remain available only on DEX.
π‘ We remind you that the NYS token is already trading on the CF20 protocol on Bitcointry exchange in the NYS/USDT pair. In addition, the CF20 protocol has been successfully implemented on BingX and Bitmart, and work is currently underway to launch CF20 on MEXC and Gate.
π Starting today, we are also migrating all CEX liquidity to the CF20 protocol and ending liquidity provision on the XT exchange, since this platform does not support the quantumβsecure CF20 protocol.
πWe also remind you that staking of NYS token is also available only via CF20 protocol.

The threat stems from the very mechanism of signing transactions. When you send coins for the first time, your public key is published on the blockchain. A regular computer would need billions of years to brute-force the corresponding private key. But a quantum computer running Shor's algorithm could potentially solve this problem in a feasible amount of time.
Crucially, the network itself will most likely continue to operate. Nodes will confirm blocks, validators will receive rewards. But every user whose public key has already been exposed could find themselves in the crosshairs. Transparency, one of the main advantages of an open blockchain, could in an instant become its greatest vulnerability.
1. The Silent Phase. The first reports of "cold" wallet hacks appear on forums. The community often dismisses this as viruses or user error.
2. The Panic Phase. Analysts confirm the anomaly: funds are moving without their owners' involvement. A mass withdrawal of funds from vulnerable addresses begins. Transaction fees skyrocket, networks become congested. A price crash ensues.
3. The Reaction Phase. Exchanges may halt withdrawals to prevent a total liquidity crash. Developers of major vulnerable networks will announce emergency hard forks. A complex and risky migration process will begin, where every attempt to move funds using an old key creates a window for attack.
If such a scenario unfolds, it will force the industry to reconsider its foundations. The crisis will be systemic, and the wave of hysteria and panic in the market will affect all projects without exception. However, the consequences will be different.
β’ Major giants will likely survive but face losses from an emergency transition to post-quantum cryptography, including costly hard forks, temporary instability, higher fees, and market share loss.
β’ Projects prepared with PQC in advance gain a strategic advantage: no migration panic, stable operations, and stronger reputation. Tokens may dip temporarily, but their fundamental value remains solid.
β’ Transparency will cease to be an unconditional good. Privacy-enhancing technologies like stealth addresses and zk-proofs may gain new recognition. The ability to hide a public key will come to be seen not just as a tool for confidentiality, but as a critically important security measure.
β’ A new paradigm may emerge β "verifiable confidentiality" β where trust is ensured not by the total visibility of data, but by cryptographic proofs of its correctness.
While many projects are only beginning to assess these risks, we at Cellframe have been proactive, considering them at the architecture design stage. We are not waiting for a hypothetical Q-Day to start acting β our users are already protected from the quantum threat.
And we are looking even further ahead. That's why we are actively researching and developing tools for anonymous cryptography for our SDK, to provide developers with the ability to create applications where security and privacy are foundational principles, not an afterthought.
Q-Day will most likely not mean the end of the blockchain industry as a whole. But it will serve as a kind of test of maturity and readiness for a future that is arriving faster than it seems. And Cellframe is ready for it today.
