New Feature in Cellframe Wallet ⚡️

We’ve added a new feature that displays the type of signature used when a wallet was created. This information is now available directly in the wallet list.

This comes at the perfect time: we’re preparing to release Node version 6.0, which will completely remove support for signatures that are either NIST-unapproved or known to be compromised.

☑️ What’s new and important:
• The wallet interface now shows the signature type used.
• Users with outdated signature types will receive an in-app notification.
• Support for outdated schemes (BLISS, Picnic, and Tesla) will be discontinued in version 6.0.

☑️ What you need to do:
• If your wallet was created using a now-deprecated signature scheme, simply create a new wallet using one of the recommended and supported options, and transfer your funds there.
• Recommended and supported signature types: Falcon, CRYSTALS-Dilithium, and Sphincs+.

To see the signature type, make sure your wallet is updated to the latest version.

Please don’t delay — the update is just around the corner. Make sure your assets remain secure and accessible.

Important Update!

The reward staking programs for Cellframe and KelVPN are coming to an end. What this means: starting October 1, 2025, new stakes will no longer earn rewards for token locking on the network.

All existing stakes will remain under current terms, and all rewards will be paid out in full. To ensure this, we are allocating a dedicated reward pool that will be distributed as follows:
🔖 October 1, 2025 – October 1, 2026:
CELL — 70к
KEL — 730k

🔖 October 1, 2026 – October 1, 2027:
CELL — 30к
KEL — 370k

In December, we’ll hold a community vote to determine the reward emission for 2026.
Last year’s vote led to the issuance of 2 million tokens, distributed 20/80 between stakers and validators.

This time, 100% of the reward pool will go to validators only — the community will decide the emission amount through the vote.

There are several ways to launch a Cellframe masternode — check out our Wiki guide for detailed instructions.

If you're not ready to run a masternode yourself, you can delegate your m-tokens to an active validator. A detailed guide on this process is also available on our Wiki. Currently, this feature requires running a node and is only accessible via the console, but we plan to update the Cellframe and KelVPN staking websites to include it in the interface. We're also working on introducing multi-delegation — the ability for multiple stakers to delegate masternode rights to a single validator.

📌 Important Information.

The Cellframe team is currently taking a number of measures to strengthen the CELL token's value and reduce inflation. There are various mechanisms and strategies suitable for these purposes, but the primary option is to cut the emission of reward tokens.

We have also adopted this as our core approach and are now working consistently in this direction. Therefore, a decision has been made to reduce the validator reward accrual rate by 50%.

Under the current conditions, this measure will help us support the price level and combat inflation. In the long term, once the price stabilizes, the real value of validator rewards will increase, despite the current reduction in nominal value.
