🔥 We are excited to announce the long-awaited voting on the emission size for staking and validator rewards. It will take place on the Cellframe voting website!

During the voting, a decision will be made on the amount of CELL tokens to allocate for block signature rewards for validators and staking next year.

There are four options available for selection:
● 1 million
● 1.25 million
● 1.5 million
● 2 million

We’ve made the process as convenient and accessible as possible.
Voting conditions:

● Only holders of native CELL tokens (CF-20) can participate.
● The weight of your vote will depend on the number of CELL CF-20 and mCELL tokens you hold.
● You can vote again at any time.
● Voting will conclude when 2/3 of the holders of free CELL CF-20 and mCELL tokens have voted, or after one week from the start.

Every vote matters! Thank you for your support! Stay with us, there’s much more to come! ☑️

Introducing the Cellframe Node Update!

🔺 Version 5.3-327 is now available for download!

New Features
● Multiple transfers in a single datum.
What does this mean?
— For users: save on fees — now you can pay for up to 200 token transfers with a single commission.
— For the ecosystem and validators: save blockchain space, as a single signature covers an entire batch of transactions.
● Wallet password removal: you can now delete your wallet password if needed.
● Prohibition of creating passwords with characters that are not included in the ASCII table. Now only classic passwords are possible: latin and traditional special characters.
● Auto-selection of zero chain for node ban/unban commands: no more manual chain selection — zero chain is now the default for these commands.
● Support for JSON structures as strings: this is now available for the tx_create_json command.

Fixes
● Resolved incorrect voting data output.
● Fixed serialization/deserialization issues in JSON-RPC.
● Corrected errors in the help documentation for global_db commands.
● Address conversion issue fixed in the node ban command.
● Cross-network transactions now only allow a single "target" network.

💻 Update your Cellframe Node now

Thank you for being with us 💜

🔥 Voting on the token emission is coming to an end!

Don't miss the chance to influence the volume of tokens we will issue as rewards for validator block signatures and staking participation in 2025. Currently, the option with 2 million CELL CF-20 tokens is in the lead, but it can still change — every vote counts!

💜 A reminder:
• Only holders of CELL (CF-20) can participate
• The weight of your vote depends on the number of CELL and mCELL tokens you hold
• You can revote at any time until the voting ends

Only a few hours remain until the voting ends! Make your choice right now on the Cellframe voting site.

We will share the results in a separate post. Stay tuned for updates so you don't miss anything!

Great news from our development team! We are exploring a new post-quantum aggregated signature, Chipmunk, with plans to integrate it into the Cellframe codebase. This integration will significantly enhance our ESBOCS block consensus mechanism and unlock new opportunities for implementing L2 rollups on the Cellframe platform. Let’s dive into the details.

☀️ An aggregated signature is a type of collective signature that mathematically combines multiple signers into one. Its size is considerably smaller than a multisignature, which simply bundles several individual signatures together. In the consensus mechanism, Chipmunk allows approximately 8,000 transactions to be consolidated into a single signature of just 135 kilobytes. This is especially important in the context of post-quantum cryptography, where algorithms are inherently more resource-intensive. For us, as a project focused on quantum resistance, implementing such a signature will greatly optimize our blockchain’s performance. Fun fact: the signature is called Chipmunk, a fitting name since our mascot is also a chipmunk!

☀️ With this new aggregated signature, we can make the ESBOCS block consensus mechanism much more efficient. Our platform’s consensus mechanism is based on CatChain from the TON blockchain, but we had to adapt it to the unique requirements of Cellframe due to the heavier nature of post-quantum cryptography. Unlike the original version, where all nodes sign the blocks, in our system, only 10 nodes (selected by a pseudorandom function each time) sign the blocks to manage signature size. While this introduces certain challenges, successfully integrating aggregated signatures will enable us to increase the number of signers and improve the overall performance of the blockchain network.

Additionally, Chipmunk will open up new possibilities for implementing L2 rollups in Cellframe, similar to those used in the Ethereum blockchain. Rollups "compress" numerous transactions into one, reducing network load and lowering transaction costs.

Finally, the most exciting part. The implementation of the post-quantum aggregated signature is a major step toward developing an advanced post-quantum ring signature with zero-knowledge proof. Such a signature ensures complete anonymity of signers. While this is a complex cryptographic challenge and work is still ongoing, we are confident that a solution will be found very soon! 💡
