As per Bloomberg reports the fancy idea to put a price cap in oil is not working out so good currently.
Result expected from the beginning since the producer, the other producers countries, the main buyers and the main stakeholders ( Russia, China, India, Saudi Arabia, OPEC) disagreed on this plan before it was even brought to existence.
Well lets think of it in a simplistic way. 😄
Lets imagine you sell lemonade, you have several clients to sell your lemonade waiting in a queue, you have a strong union of lemonade sellers network, it is summer, it is hot, lemonades are not enough and people are thirsty and here comes one client in the queue and tells you " i will buy your lemonade but you sell it 3 $ , i will pay you 1$"... what you think how long before you smile and refuse to sell for 1$?😁

Credit Suisse plans to restructure its business & attempt to raise capital in order to withstand heavy losses as well as increasing concerns & speculations on its financial stability.
Of course as part of the cost saving plan they also plan to cut off 9000 workplaces reducing the workforce from 52ooo to 43ooo. In addition they will spin off some of its higher risk businesses.
But in the end of the day all these measures will only succeed if they simultaneously manage to raise $4bn in new capital, $1.5bn of which will come from Saudi National Bank.
Needs to be stated that already the Spreads on the bank’s credit default swaps (CDS), which insure investors in the event of a debt default, surged in recent weeks to their highest levels ! !

One of the main reasons it is not working to put an oil cap as USA and EU is trying is the fact that OPEC has announced production cuts in the oil production (barrel/day). When demand is not fullfilled and supply is cut it is obvious you can hardly dream of regulating the price in a commodity that has been difficult to regulate in any case for decades.
This OPEC decision has been a conflicting point in the relationships between Saudi Arabia and the USA. The reports and the articles last days suggest that not only US did not expect this but on the contrary they thought they had achieved a secret deal with Saudi Arabia earlier for increase of oil production.
Seems the Crown Prince really has low respect for Joe 😁

At 04.30am today morning air-drones and sea drones attacked the Russian fleet in Sevastopol. The exact damages are not confirmed yet but Ukrainians are celebrating that even flagships were hit.
While story is developing very concerning and serious statement officially issued by Ministry of Defence of Russia:
9 air - drones and 4 sea - drones were used. Some were hit by Russia but not all.
In the attack apart from Ukraine helped UK advisors.
Also UK participated in the planning and execution of the explosion of pipelines Nordstream 1,2.
This is Huge Escalation of War and if Ukrainian social media information is confirmed that even the Russian flagship Makarov is hit we do not dare to think what could be the response of Russian Federation.
