Result expected from the beginning since the producer, the other producers countries, the main buyers and the main stakeholders ( Russia, China, India, Saudi Arabia, OPEC) disagreed on this plan before it was even brought to existence.
Well lets think of it in a simplistic way. 😄
Lets imagine you sell lemonade, you have several clients to sell your lemonade waiting in a queue, you have a strong union of lemonade sellers network, it is summer, it is hot, lemonades are not enough and people are thirsty and here comes one client in the queue and tells you " i will buy your lemonade but you sell it 3 $ , i will pay you 1$"... what you think how long before you smile and refuse to sell for 1$?😁

Credit Suisse plans to restructure its business & attempt to raise capital in order to withstand heavy losses as well as increasing concerns & speculations on its financial stability.
Of course as part of the cost saving plan they also plan to cut off 9000 workplaces reducing the workforce from 52ooo to 43ooo. In addition they will spin off some of its higher risk businesses.
But in the end of the day all these measures will only succeed if they simultaneously manage to raise $4bn in new capital, $1.5bn of which will come from Saudi National Bank.
Needs to be stated that already the Spreads on the bank’s credit default swaps (CDS), which insure investors in the event of a debt default, surged in recent weeks to their highest levels ! !
