The multipollar world and the decline of dollar. True or myth? part 1

Since the emergence of the US as the world’s superpower almost 60 years ago, the discourse on its imminent hegemonic decline has been ongoing for quite some time.
However till recently it did not correspond to any realistic forecast.

The rapid economic growth of China & other emerging powers, traditionally named as countries from Global South, has lately fuelled discussion about the receding power of American hegemony.

Some even argue that the days of American global dominance could be nearly over, and the most promising candidate to replace it is China.

Till now dollar has dominated the world. It derives its amazing power as it is considered a reserve currency. This leads people to stock dollars in all downturns; even when US economy is in turmoil.

China, Russia, India started the discussions & the declarations for a multipolar world & new world order in beginning 2022. It all seemed nothing but absurd vague words.

Multipollar world. True or myth part 2

In May there were some news of Russians agreeing with Saudis for petroleum exchanges in national currencies. This has been an ongoing theoretic discussion though and is not really a fact yet.

If Saudis were ever to do such a step, practically it would be the beginning of the end for the "petrodollar".

It would cause tectonic disruptions & could lead to new military conflicts in Middle East.

So today's news coming from China are of the upmost importance. It is a game changer.

It is the author's opinion that actually this is the real game among super-powers & not the territorial claims in Ukraine or in Taiwan.

One thing is for sure; despite Biden's undoubtfull experience in foreign policy his current physical condition is not allowing US to gain allies or trust.

On the contrary countries of the Collective East & Global South start aligning with each other.

More than 12 countries want to join BRICS and many more are part of the SCO alliance.

Multipollar world part 3

This is a huge shift in world governance. China & India do not only represent 3/8 of the world global population like few years ago.

They now represent two of the world's strongest economies with significant military capabilities. As well as a 3 bln people market!

The US unless we ender into a despicable nuclear war scenario (god forbid!) will remain one of the world's main actors for many decades. Such a superpower will not collapse from one day to the other.

The future of EU however seems not bright at all. Stagnated economies, absence of political leadership, lack of military indepedence (EU is fully depedent on NATO due to lack of European army), minimal own energy & mineral resources, "dancing" inflation and most importantly saturated markets are the concrete signs of a declining EU.

If we add the disastrous rejection of cheap energy resources and commodities decided by EU leaders in 2022 the projection for EU finance outlook is pretty questionable.

Multipollar world part 4 (last)

There is still time for EU to save itself.

Assuming that relationships with RF are already beyond the point of repair, the bridges with China have not collapsed yet.

Europeans should not allow Ursula and her likes in Brussels to target China and go down a similar path of sanctions like they did with RF.

By targetting RF half western EU (Germany, France) entered a harmful deindustrialization process.
If EU will finally obey USA instructions & impose sanctions to China, this will be the end for previously prosperous Western Europe.

This time EU citizens should react before and not after the fact. Unless Ursula or Borell convince them that Xi Jinping will make a move towards the Eiffel tower any day now 😁...

In US things are more simple. No matter which is the leading party (democrats or republicans) the "deep state" power needs to be limited. A new USA government needs to build global relationships based on trust, not on blackmails or military strength.

Former Moldovan president Igor Dodon (who represents the opposition party now) was released yesterday.

He was detained since May on charges of corruption. He was released in an effort of the governing party to calm down the Moldovan citizens who have been rallying for 2 consecutive months non-stop against Maia Sandu government.

However these are the videos and images of Moldova Chisinau yesterday.

It must be the 10th post on Moldovan protests (literally twice per week

Who is La'eeb?

Football fans all over the world are you ready???
Tomorrow the show begins and may the best team - nation win. Lets leave politics and violence out of football!

The Official Mascot for the Qatar 2022 World Cup is a super-skilled football player called La'eeb, in the form of a traditional keffiyeh headdress, but with eyebrows, eyes and mouth, and a lively, sparkling personality.

The mascot of the World Cup in Qatar, which starts on November 20, will be a gutra (she is also a keffiyeh, she is also a shemagh, she is also an Arafatka - a men's headscarf in the Arab world).

Mascots at the world championships first appeared in 1966 in London (before that, 7 world championships took place). They are created to increase demand for tournament symbols and make a profit. Since 1966, not a single tournament is complete without them.

We gathered all mascots here! Prepare your beers (or your lemonades) and Enjoy!

☕️ Morning coffee session Today's quiz is the following: On a TV show you have 3 doors. Behind one of the three there is an expensive car. Behind the other two there are goats. You initially choose door 1. Then the TV presenter of the show opens door 3…
Our today quiz is The Monty Hall problem. It is a brain teaser, in the form of a probability puzzle, loosely based on the American television game show Let's Make a Deal and named after its original host, Monty Hall.

Check the spoiler to see the answer.

The correct answer is to switch to the other door n2. Under the standard assumptions, the switching strategy has a 2/3 probability of winning the car, while the strategy that remains with the initial choice n1 has only a 1/3 probability.

When the player first makes their choice n1, there is a 2/3 chance that the car is behind one of the doors he did not chose. This probability does not change after the host reveals a goat behind one of the unchosen doors n3. When the host provides information about the 2 unchosen doors (revealing that one of them does not have the car behind) the allocation of the winning chances does not change.

So statistically and as proven by computer simulations the player should better change door to increase his chances.
