Iranian who inspired "The Terminal" film dies at Paris airport.
Mehran Karimi Nasseri, 76, died on Saturday after a heart attack in the airportโs Terminal 2F.
Nasseriโs mind-boggling tale inspired Steven Spielbergโs 2004 movie The Terminal starring Tom Hanks, as well as a French film Lost in Transit, and an opera called Flight.
He lived in the departure lounge of Terminal 1 in Charles de Gaulle Airport from 26 August 1988 until July 2006, when he was hospitalized.
He stayed there at first because he found himself in legal limbo. Reason is he lacked residency papers. Later on he remained there as reported by choice.
Last months he was living again in the airport.

Yesterday Saturday it was Berlin's turn in Germany to host protests.
Thousands of people marched through the German capital against high inflation and rising food prices.
But most of all the question is why Germany should be de-industrialised. People worked tough in Germany and in EU in general for decades to reach a good quality of living.

On Tuesday, leaders of the G20 nations โ the worldโs major economies โ will gather in Bali, Indonesia.
The summit will be attented by 19 strongest economies + EU + Ukraine (not part of G20 but invited due to situation).
