Shubham Sir explains how aspirants can systematically prepare for Mains between September and December.

He emphasizes five pillars: a clear plan, the right approach, consolidated content, short notes, and consistent answer-writing practice. Aspirants should integrate Prelims and Mains preparation, study GS and Optional in parallel, and avoid scattered resources by maintaining one primary source per subject.

PYQs should be treated as the syllabus itself—analysed for repeated themes, directives, and potential questions. One-page notes should capture introductions, dimensions, examples, best practices, conclusions, and keywords. The goal is to complete Mains preparation by December, ensuring a smooth transition to Prelims with confidence.

Arvind sir explains why PYQs are only the baseline, not the complete strategy, for UPSC Mains 2027. While 70–80% of questions remain linked to PYQs, many are framed indirectly, testing whether aspirants can decode the underlying microtheme, demand and application.

Beginners often prepare only for direct PYQ repetition, keeping their prediction zone limited. Rankers expand this zone through microtheme-based preparation, moving from Level 1 to Level 3. The video demonstrates how past questions across society, agriculture, diaspora and governance help predict new questions.

Key takeaway: prepare every PYQ thematically, identify its core demand, and build content beyond its exact wording.

Rohit Sir explains how a structured mentorship system can transform UPSC 2028 preparation through microthemes, weekly accountability, answer writing, PYQ-based learning, and continuous course correction.

He highlights the importance of starting answer writing from day one, building one-page notes, completing basic resources, and gradually moving towards Prelims and Mains-focused preparation.

The video explains how UAP uses microthemes and PYQs to identify high-priority areas, track preparation through a “heat map,” and personalize the pace for every aspirant.

With senior mentors, regular tests, feedback, and structured modules, the focus remains on maintaining momentum, identifying gaps, and staying aligned with UPSC’s changing demands.
