⬛⬜ #OnThisDay four years ago the Catalan independentist movement mobilised massively in Brussels to ask Europe for help against the Spanish State repression.
Four years later Catalans still feel abandoned by the EU as second class citizens. The message we receive is that minorities are less worth. Is this the EU that you want?
How does the EU dare to call itself the defendant of the rule of law and human rights abroad when it closes a blind eye to all the human rights violations that happen every day in one of its big four member states, Spain?
As for us Catalans, we will never surrender in demanding our freedom as a nation.
