MATADOR TECHNOLOGIES SECURES APPROVAL FOR 80 MILLION CAD INFRASTRUCTURE PROSPECTUS

According to ChainCatcher, Canadian publicly traded company Matador Technologies has received approval from the Ontario Securities Commission for an infrastructure prospectus valued at 80 million CAD.

The prospectus, valid for 25 months, is intended to support Matador’s Bitcoin accumulation strategy.
The company currently holds approximately 175 BTC and has set a target to expand its reserves to 1,000 Bitcoin by the end of 2026.

Matador’s CEO Deven Soni stated that the approval is a critical step in optimizing the company’s capital structure, allowing faster and more flexible access to funding as it scales its Bitcoin treasury strategy.

Analysts view this move as another example of growing corporate adoption of Bitcoin as a strategic balance sheet asset.
