This video is for AFM but will be relevant for IBS paper. I have shared some useful MCQ hacks which i have used during my exam. It will help you to make correct guess even if you don't know the concept :)

Keep these points in mind in today's exam

- Carry all the books and qn bank which you have read, don't leave any chance for regret. You may not use everything but take it in exam to feel confident.

- Paper will be lengthy as per past trends of elective so, use your time effectively in exam.

- if you find that you will not be able to complete 100% paper then make sure that you have filled all the MCQ in OMR (no explanation is required) + write the concept/provision of the pending qns (as 50% marks are for provision only)

- Use the case study Index in first 15 minutes reading time only and search every descriptive Qn, if no case study repeats then try to search similar qn using topic wise index.

- If no repeated and similar qn is there then keep all the IBS compilation aside and try answering qns based on subject wise qn bank and concept notes.

- Use MCQ index wisely in exam if you have spare time (otherwise if you keep searching for qns then when will you write).

- Read only descriptive Qn in reading time to decide which case study to leave & which to attempt.

- when writing time start, don't wait till you search all the answers. Start writing as soon as you find answers.

- Don't attempt MCQ of all 5 Case study Qns to get extra marks (Attempt only 4 CS), ICAI know these things and have deducted 5 marks for students who have done this in Nov 2023 elective paper.

Make sure you know how to use the material in exam.

ICAI has released new case study digest for IBS having 50 case studies. There are 20 new case studies and remaining 30 are repeated, will soon share the detailed analysis and updated material for Nov 2024.

PS: Planning to prepare the book for IBS covering all case studies with amended answers in less number of pages :)
