The DID infrastructure (Decentralized Identifier) will also be used to store off-chain assets related to utility NFTs.
Utility NFTs are functional NFTs that give the users who possess them special privileges, such as permission to access content, rights to certain discounts, or the ability to unlock early access ahead of the general public.

We have been working on leveraging The Graph, which is a decentralized blockchain query service.
By making the Card Pay data model & smart-contract events available as a subgraph, we can leverage the power of GraphQL to construct a complete transaction history of a user’s wallet.

We're currently preparing the design artifacts to submit Card Wallet to the Apple app store. We want to enable beta testers to download the iOS wallet to test out the dApp features, as many of the Card Pay dashboard features require proper configuration of a layer-2 wallet.

Cardstack vs SaaS — Part 2
How does Cardstack compare to popular SaaS tools?
On the protocol development front, improvements are being made to the core Card Pay protocol family. The aim is to increase the robustness and handle special error conditions that arise when wallets are too low on tokens to be able to pay for gas.
While users don't need to have a separate gas token to perform actions through the Card Pay protocol, they need to have enough value in one of their token balances, because the system will deduct the requisite tokens to substitute the gas fees that are advanced by the relayer.
