On the analytics front, we are working with a team of graduate students at NYU (New York University) on a development project to measure the gas usage of certain blockchain transactions, especially those made around NFT trading.

Our dApp team is creating user profile pages for all users of the Cardstack ecosystem, especially those who created merchant or business accounts as part of the Card Pay beta program.

Web3 dApps are typically used only by those who have wallets. As a result of the structures behind MetaMask and other injected wallets, the data displayed in webpages is not often sharable via URL or indexed by search engines like Google.

On the mobile application front, the team is working to improve the user experience on Android. The similarities between the Android and iOS build are increasing.

Beta users who downloaded the Android app from the Google Play Store as part of the early access program are receiving steady updates equipped with more consistent modal window handling and settings panes consistency.

As we continue refining the payment protocol, we are also preparing to deploy Card Pay and the Card Reward Protocol family to many of the EVM-compatible chains that are currently gaining users.

As part of that effort, we are writing a whitepaper with supporting developer documentation, so as to guide other EVM chains that want to bring customer / merchant payment protocols to their chain through the prerequisites and operational requirements.

We've been advancing the user profile features attached to Card Space.

This allows users who have created wallets and business accounts in the Card Pay Protocol to have public-facing web presences under the domain name card.xyz.

One central element that is important for driving the adoption of any new protocol is creating incentives for users who generate real economic value.

The Cardstack team met with the Protocol Labs team in charge of maintaining Protocol Labs' http://nft.storage and http://web3.storage services for a technical architecture discussion.

We wanted to identify the best way to leverage IPFS and Filecoin stacks to support the decentralized storage of extracted and transformed data sets using the Apache Arrow data frame standard.
