Card Space brings decentralized web hosting and allows merchants to create their own storefronts.

Hear more about these storefronts from Chris Tse in this chapter of our "Card Pay: Fast, Cheap, Easy." video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOprRhOo80Q&t=239s&ab_channel=Cardstack

Card Pay is integrated with top protocols & services, from Gnosis Safe to WalletConnect.
We have created SPEND to operate as a globalized international currency that functions as a tool of measurement and sense-making, just like any other currency.

But how do currencies function as tools of measurement and sense-making?

Cardstack is positioned as the experience layer of Web3. An essential part of our work is the DeFi payment and reward protocol built on Ethereum.
Our workflow system guides users through all the steps needed for making deposits, issuing prepaid cards, setting up a merchant account or Card Space, and much more.

After a successful first round of private beta testing, we launched Card Pay on mainnet last week! This allows us to move on to the second round of private beta testing today.

As we move our beta from testnet to mainnet, we want to thank all the contributors who participated in the first round of our beta program. As a thank you for their valuable help and feedback, we will reward all our beta testers with 10,000 CARD.

We also want to give a special thanks to our most active top 5 testers who spent a considerable amount of time to help us improve Card Pay & Card Wallet: Thank you very much for your efforts Lothar#8731, juliandante#1330, gpeixoto#9759, mattr#1108, and wiill#2296 — you will receive a reward of 50,000 CARD.

We are very proud of the progress we've made with the help of our beta testers and look forward to continued feedback in our private beta on mainnet! We will send out invites to those who signed up for early access in the coming days.
Thanks everyone for joining yesterday for our first POAP. We've reached the maximum allocation of 1,000 POAPs for this distribution. This was our first POAP, but will not be our last! We look forward to creating additional opportunities to claim POAPs in the future.
We are developing a bridging infrastructure, so that you can buy a prepaid card with Apple Pay and receive a stablecoin balance on L2 immediately.

We wanted to give everyone a sneak peek of Card Wallet by Cardstack on Android. Here is a quick video going through parts of the app: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4Mk9_qE8C0

We will release more info about the Android Beta next month. 🚀🚀🚀
SPEND is similar to in-game currencies like Robux and V-Bucks. Think of SPEND as Cardstack's very own in-game currency. Learn more about SPEND here: https://medium.com/cardstack/introducing-spend-d76372368d0

While we have been busy preparing for the iOS release of Card Wallet to TestFlight and getting Apple’s approval to distribute the app more widely, we haven’t forgotten about the Android users in our community.

We have been working to reduce the differences between the iOS codebase and the Android codebase. As a result of this effort, we were able to create an internal alpha-quality version of Card Wallet. Here is a quick screencast of Card Wallet by Cardstack running on a Google Pixel 5A device. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4Mk9_qE8C0&ab_channel=Cardstack

While our mobile team is continuing to fix bugs and push other developments, our dApp team is working on the Cardstack web app, which includes the Card Space functionality.

There are a lot of features in the Card Space product that we are developing one by one. These will be made available regardless of the operating system, as they are rooted in a web-based experience.

To be fair to all users, we will only release Card Space after the Android release.
This week, we brought together our US, Eastern-based engineering team members for an in-person work session.

The main topic of discussion was the continuation of the Card Compiler work, which is an R&D effort that has been ongoing and in parallel with our product development efforts.

Ultimately, we want to ensure that future developments on top of the Cardstack framework can be composable at the UI level, which allows us to mix Web2 and Web3 features seamlessly for the end user.
Card Space allows users to add a donation module to their space, which contains customizable QR payment codes.

Users just drag a donation module into their Card Space and select the payment amounts. Then, their supporters can simply tip them by scanning a QR code.

This feature is completely noncustodial, so users don't have to wait for an intermediary to clear transactions; the funds will travel straight from a supporter’s wallet to the blockchain to the recipient’s wallet.
