Query no. 1: Students I am only studying the chartbook is it enough.

My response: it’s enough provided your concepts are clear. Chartbook is just for revision of entire IDT in a short span. Solve Q&A by writing after every revisionary to understand at what level u stand.

Query no. 2: Sir I am not practicing Q&A for theoretical question, I am only solving practical question.

My response: please practice Q&A for theoretical questions also. Every question has a different way to approach. U have to learn to write theoretical questions also.

Key take always from query solving session no. 4:

Query no. 1: i don’t know what to do with MCQs, finding it difficult to solve.

My response:
Practice. The more u practice, better it’s going to be. Applying concepts in MCQ is really challenging. So don’t take 30 marks for granted. It’s very challenging to score in Mcq.

Query no. 2: sir I am practicing q&a but unable to write circular No. notification no. Etc. what to do.

My response: it’s ok to not remember circular or notification no. Some section number u can remember with practice. But it’s ok to not remember, don’t take too much pressure.

Query no. 3: I am revising from your chartbook. Is it enough?

My response: After every revision please pick up the Q&A book and start writing. U will understand if u are actually clear with concepts and if your preparations are enough.

Query no. 4: sir please give a list of important questions

My response: please practice all Q&A from Q&A book/compiler which u have. In whichever question u make a mistake or find it difficult to solve are the ones which are important for you.
ICAI can ask the simplest of the questions in exam.

My suggestion to all students. Pick up the May 22 exam paper and try completing the same in 3 hours. Write as if you are writing a exam. Once 3 hour are done. Self evaluate using suggested answers.
You will be clear on where u stand today.

Today’s key points:

1. Query no. 1. Sir I am not practicing theoretical questions by writing and practical question also I am just finding out the answers. Not writing completely.

My response: if you want to score good, start writing complete answer.
Remember if u practice for a sixer at home, you will hit a sixer in exam.

Guys if u don’t practice, remember u have high chances of scoring less. So please start today.

His son – Mr. Pal - wants to continue the business of the deceased father.
The GST consultant of M/s Spiceton Restaurant gives advice to Mr. Pal as to how he can continue the business of his deceased father.
Which of the following options is correct in accordance with the provisions of GST law?
(a) Mr. Pal should apply for a new registration under GST in the name M/s Spiceton Restaurant under his own PAN w.e.f. the date of succession and file Form GST ITC 02 for transfer of ITC to the new entity.
