Australia, through CAPRED, is helping the Cambodian private sector strengthen market linkages in the cashew industry.
Two firms have recently signed agreements involving investment from Australia and orders from Indonesia, China and Singapore, with negotiations with other potential firms underway.
Australia funded a Cambodian delegation to attend the 2024 World Cashew conference in Siem Reap and the 2025 conference in Dubai. With Australia’s expert guidance, producers and government representative were able to showcase Cambodia’s unique offerings to international investors.
Australia remains committed to helping Cambodia promote trade and investment, boosting the country’s economy to achieve resilient, inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Australia supports clean water access in Kampong Thom
Australia has helped over 1.2 million rural Cambodians to access clean piped water, and we’re committed to continue supporting Cambodia to achieve universal access to clean water by 2030.
In Kampong Thom’s Prasat Sambo district, more than 24,300 people now have access to safe, piped water thanks to Australia’s support to a local private water operator through CAPRED.
For IDPoor cardholder Ka Huy, this access has made all the difference. It has eased the daily burden of collecting water, protected her from dry season shortages, and ensured safe water is available for daily use.

អូស្ត្រាលីកំពុងគាំទ្រ ក្រុមប្រឹក្សាអភិវឌ្ឍន៍កម្ពុជា The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) ក្នុងការរៀបចំយុទ្ធសាស្រ្តជំរុញការវិនិយោគរយៈពេលបីឆ្នាំដែលផ្តោតលើវិស័យអេឡិចត្រូនិច និងកែច្នៃកសិផល។
កាលពីពេលថ្មីៗនេះ កម្មវិធីភាពជាដៃគូកម្ពុជាអូស្ត្រាលីសម្រាប់ការអភិវឌ្ឍសេដ្ឋកិច្ចប្រកបដោយភាពធន់ (CAPRED) បានរៀបចំកិច្ចពិភាក្សាជាមួយ CDC មន្ត្រីរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលផ្សេងៗទៀត និងវិស័យឯកជន ដើម្បីគាំទ្រដល់កម្ពុជា សម្របសម្រួលយុទ្ធសាស្រ្តជំរុញការវិនិយោគតាមការអនុវត្តល្អបំផុតលំដាប់អន្តរជាតិ។
គំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមនេះ គឺជាផ្នែកមួយនៃការគាំទ្ររបស់អូស្ត្រាលី ដល់កំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចប្រកបដោយបរិយាបន្ន និងជំរុញយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រសេដ្ឋកិច្ចអាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍របស់អូស្ត្រាលីដល់ឆ្នាំ ២០៤០ ដោយផ្តោតលើការជំរុញពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងការវិនិយោគទ្វេភាគីនៅក្នុងតំបន់។

Australia is supporting the Development of Cambodia (CDC) develop a three-year Investment Promotion Strategy focused on the electronics and agro-processing sectors.
Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED) recently held consultations with the CDC, other government officials and the private sector to support Cambodia align its investment promotion efforts with international best practice.
This initiative is part of Australia’s broader support for inclusive growth and advances Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040, promoting two-way trade and investment in the region.

យើងបានស្តាប់ការចែករំលែកពីថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំអតីតនិស្សិតរបស់យើង អ្នកតំណាងកម្មវិធី CAPRED និងតំណាងវិស័យឯកជន។ ឯកឧត្តម សោម ចំណាន រដ្ឋលេខាធិការ ក្រសួងការងារ និងបណ្តុះបណ្តាលវិជ្ជាជីវៈ ក៏បានធ្វើបទបង្ហាញអំពីសារៈសំខាន់នៃភាពជាអ្នកដឹកនាំ និងផ្នត់គំនិតដើម្បីអភិវឌ្ឍខ្លួនក្នុងការចូលរួមចំណែកក្នុងការអភិវឌ្ឍប្រទេសជាតិផងដែរ។

អូស្ត្រាលីមានមោទនភាពចំពោះការចូលរួមរបស់អតីតនិស្សិតកម្ពុជាពីអូស្ត្រាលីក្នុងវិស័យសំខាន់ៗសម្រាប់ការអភិវឌ្ឍសេដ្ឋកិច្ចសង្គមរបស់កម្ពុជាដែលកំពុងបន្តឈានទៅមុខ។

Yesterday, Chargé d'Affaires Bridget Collier joined the Australian Alumni Association of Cambodia (AAA-C) to open the Professional Development Series workshop, focused on key socio-economic challenges for Cambodia as well as topics relevant to professional development.
We heard from our alumni leaders, representatives of the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED) and the private sector. H.E. Som Chamnan, Secretary of State, Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, also presented on the importance of leadership and having a growth mindset in contributing to national development.
The event involved collaboration between the AAA-C, CAPRED, AusCham Cambodia and Australia Awards Cambodia.
Australia is proud of the contribution Australian alumni make in areas critical to Cambodia’s ongoing socio-economic development.
