Access to clean water reduces poverty, supports economic growth and environmental sustainability. It also has the power to change lives. For Narun, a visually impaired father in Cambodia, access to clean water has improved the quality of his family’s life.
Thanks to access to piped treated water, funded by Australia, Narun's family can now manage their household chores efficiently, and his wife has more time to contribute to their income.
Narun cares for his children, cooks meals, and does other household chores. His wife is a vital part of the family's success, selling food and raising livestock. Previously, a lack of reliable, clean water, made these tasks far more challenging.
This World Water Day celebrates the power that access to clean water can give to people. Watch this video to see how Australian aid is directly impacting families like Narun's, and learn how you can contribute to a world with clean water for all.

The G-PSF Coordination and Operations Consultant will work under the direction of the CAPRED G-PSF Senior International Advisor to develop best practice products and services for the G-PSF.

Australia, through its flagship economic development program, the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED), sponsored 10 Cambodian cashew producers to attend the Cambodia-hosted World Cashew Conference 2024.
