Australia is committed to fostering women's economic empowerment and promoting inclusive growth in Cambodia.
Through our flagship economic development program, the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED), we organised a study visit to Australia for 14 Cambodian women entrepreneurs, including Oknha Keo Mom. The visit enabled them to exchange learning and network with Australian business owners, senior government officials and women’s association leaders.

Access to clean water reduces poverty, supports economic growth and environmental sustainability. It also has the power to change lives. For Narun, a visually impaired father in Cambodia, access to clean water has improved the quality of his family’s life.
Thanks to access to piped treated water, funded by Australia, Narun's family can now manage their household chores efficiently, and his wife has more time to contribute to their income.
Narun cares for his children, cooks meals, and does other household chores. His wife is a vital part of the family's success, selling food and raising livestock. Previously, a lack of reliable, clean water, made these tasks far more challenging.
