Australia backs Cambodia's Government-Private Sector Forum (G-PSF)

Australia is supporting the inclusive development of a strong private sector in Cambodia - a vibrant private sector is essential for promoting inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction.

Through the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED), Australia is working Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, The Council for the Development of Cambodia and other stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of the Government-Private Sector Forum (G-PSF). The G-PSF is the peak platform for dialogue between the government and private sector in Cambodia.

Recent discussions between Australia, CAPRED and the CCC have focused on ways to improve the G-PSF to make it inclusive and results oriented. In particular, support will be provided to strengthen the 14 technical Working Groups at the national level and support public and private sector dialogue at the provincial levels.

Technical support for Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) risk management

CAPRED is seeking a competent entity (company or organisation) to provide technical support and detailed risk assessment in managing the ERW risk.

GEDSI Transformative Enterprise Development Advisor

CAPRED is seeking GEDSI Transformative Enterprise Development Advisor to work in partnership with private companies, private institutions, business associations and other private sector entities to support and strengthen participation by and outcomes for women and diverse others, particularly the most marginalized. The role will also work with key government partners (including MOWA, MEF, SNEC, and MOC), other development partners and civil society stakeholders to promote a stronger policy framework for GEDSI.

The GEDSI Transformative Enterprise Development Advisor (GTEDA) will work in alignment with and to fulfill the intentions of the CAPRED GEDSI Strategy. The GTEDA will report to the GEDSI Lead, working closely with the GEDSI and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor (GSEA) and GEDSI Policy Advisor (GPA), ensuring complementarity and strong coordination across approaches and interventions. They will also work collaboratively with Facility team members, particularly those engaged in enterprise development, to support GEDSI integration across all Facility work.
