អូស្ត្រាលីជួយពង្រឹងសក្តានុពលនៃការកែច្នៃគ្រាប់ស្វាយចន្ទីនៅកម្ពុជា
កម្ពុជាគឺជាប្រទេសផលិតគ្រាប់ស្វាយចន្ទីឆៅធំជាងគេលំដាប់ទីពីរនៅលើពិភពលោក ប៉ុន្តែមានតែ ៥ ភាគរយប៉ុណ្ណោះនៃទិន្នផលសរុបដែលត្រូវបានកែច្នៃនៅក្នុងប្រទេស។ ការខ្វះខាតសមត្ថភាពកែច្នៃក្នុងស្រុកនេះ ធ្វើឱ្យកម្ពុជាបាត់បង់ចំណូលសក្តានុពលជាង ១២៥ លានដុល្លារអាមេរិកក្នុងមួយឆ្នាំ ខណៈដែលកសិករ និងពាណិជ្ជករនៅតែប្រឈមនឹងហានិភ័យពីការប្រែប្រួលតម្លៃទីផ្សារ។
អូស្ត្រាលីកំពុងសហការជាមួយក្រុមហ៊ុន Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) ដែលជាក្រុមហ៊ុនកសិពាណិជ្ជកម្មសកល មានចំណែកពី ២០ ទៅ ២៥ ភាគរយនៃទីផ្សារគ្រាប់ស្វាយចន្ទីពិភពលោក ដើម្បីបង្កើនសមត្ថភាពកែច្នៃគ្រាប់ស្វាយចន្ទីចំនួន ៨០ តោនក្នុងមួយថ្ងៃ និងជំរុញការវិនិយោគរហូតដល់ ១០ លានដុល្លារអាមេរិកក្នុងវិស័យកែច្នៃគ្រាប់ស្វាយចន្ទីនៅកម្ពុជា។

Cambodia is the world’s second-largest producer of raw cashew nuts, yet only 5 per cent of what is produced is processed in country. Without local processing, Cambodia loses over US$125 million each year in potential revenue, while farmers and traders remain vulnerable to unstable market prices.
Australia is partnering with Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) – a global agribusiness which accounts for 20-25 per cent of the global cashew market – to increase processing capacity by 80 metric tonnes per day and generate up to US$10 million for investment in Cambodian cashew processing.
Australia is committed to attracting quality investments that create jobs and support businesses, helping Cambodia become economically strong and prosperous.
