Everything in life works on trust. The degree varies. When we book a movie, we trust that it will be worth it. When we order a dish, we trust it will be tasty. If it doesn't turn out as expected, we hardly care.
But when students haven't met you, seen you in person, yet decide to place their complete trust in you to shape their future, albeit in a small way, that trust is most sacred. And most scary. A minor betrayal amounts to sacrilege.
Till now , I was lucky to be showered with blessings by my Bangalore students , but now , thanks to pendrive lectures, truly humbled to receive these messages from across India from faces I've never seen and people I've never met (but I am sure I will one day)
