Shorted Zcash today on 10x leverage @ ~$135
Liquidation price is ~$182, right where I wanted it, so the bet becomes ‘will Zcash go significantly lower before it moves up and past ~$160 again’, thereby sending it above my price.
$ZEC hit an ATH of around $700 back in 2018, so I don’t think we are reaching those heights any time soon, but it is certainly the case that if this local top breaks, signifying longevity past this local hype cycle, it could fire past $200. So again, my bet is that it won’t and that this was the local top until next time.
Behind my bet is conviction on the CT attention economy theory to play out and for this to retrace to somewhere around the $100 point of buy resistance before that (last week this time it was ~$50, so it had a very fast run up).
I have this short set to close at around $104, which I may adjust depending on vibes.
Let’s see.
