B.C. drug smuggler fled to India to avoid 15-year prison sentence
Canadian authorities are seeking a "red notice" from Interpol for the arrest of Raj Kumar Mehmi, a Surrey man convicted of smuggling cocaine into Canada. Mehmi, sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison, allegedly fled to India to avoid imprisonment.
