If you want a JOB: This is the #1 way to get HIRED.

Many individuals tell me they have sent out 100+ resumes and haven’t received any responses. I tell them that’s like playing the lottery and hoping to win. The truth is many resumes go to the rejection pile unread. What you need to do is network. Reach out to people. Ask for JOB REFERRALS. 85% of all jobs are filled via networking. Don’t be afraid to ask everyone if there are any suitable vacancies in their company. Pick up the phone and call someone in HR to let them know you just sent your resume.

Keep knocking every door. You will be REJECTED many times but don’t take it personally. It’s not how many no’s you get. It’s about that one “YES.” Keep going. It's just a matter of time and the right door will open for you. "I will prepare and someday my chance will come." - Abraham Lincoln.

Are you a TVET/College student? If yes, are you benefiting from GoK fee subsidiary?
According to the GoK, the total fees charged must not be more than Ksh 56,420 per student/year. Of the KES 56,420, the GoK was to pay Ksh 30,000 for each student directly to the college. The balance Kshs 26,420 was to be raised by applying for a loan from the HELB.
Thus, college education should be FREE if the student applied for a HELB Loan. Otherwise, the fees should not exceed Ksh 26,420 a year.
