Nursing course in Kenya is becoming of the marketable courses because there is emergence of many health care facilities in the country and the nurses are the core health care providers who are required to manage patients and clients attending these health care institutions for various health services. In Kenya, for any institution to offer nursing course, it must be approved by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).

The Kibabii University in Bungoma County is set and ready to host this years ‘Kenya National Drama and Film festivals , Vice Chancellor, Prof, Isaac Odeo Ipara has said.

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed multi-millionaire businessman Narendra Raval as the Chancellor of Egerton University, one of the country’s oldest and most reputable tertiary institutions.

Raval, who is one of Kenya’s most successful businessmen and philanthropists, will take over from the current Chancellor, Professor Shem Oyoo Wadiga, following the announcement in the Kenya Gazette of February 22.

The tycoon joins an exclusive club of prominent Kenyan business leaders who have been appointed by President Kenyatta to head Government-owned universities in the recent past.
