The court has disposed off the Writ Petition, directing the ICAI to publish a Press Note/Guidelines, explaining and responding to the concerns the candidates have, which were mentioned in our note, to ensure that the candidates are not left in uncertainty and can then can plan their examinations accordingly. The ICAI has also been directed to make representations to the MHA and state Govts. for letting the admit cards being used as e-passes for ease of movement, in cases there is a lockdown.
