This is an amazing event; I didn't come across competitive programming challenges in ALX. Don't forget to give it a try. At least you'll meet so many people and learn from them how they build those skills. (Kinda of knowing the roadmap easily)

Today I saw someone I knew as a medical student at Tikur Anbessa… now he’s studying psychology and doing programming on the side. Honestly, it surprised me.

It made me think — these days a lot of people see dropping out as a shortcut to success. But I don’t think it works like that.

Success is more about discipline, managing your time, and actually knowing what you want.

Right now coding feels “trendy,” like how everyone used to want to be a doctor. But jumping in without direction won’t take you far.

If you don’t have a clear plan, dropping out isn’t the answer. Build your discipline first, focus on your education, and grow your skills.

Then when the right opportunity comes, you’ll know what to do.(yeah if necessary dropping out)
