What region of Russia are you from? What is it famous for?

For your information, I come from Moscow. There are a lot of things that city is famous for. For starters, Moscow is the capital of our country. Moreover, it’s the largest city of Russia.

Do you think your region is popular with tourists? Why do you think so?

If you ask me, Moscow is the most popular place for tourists. Firstly, due to its variety of sightseeings. Secondly, the Moscow underground is supposed to be the most beautiful in the world. It’s worth seeing!

Are most of your local sights related to history? Are there any new attractions?

As a rule, most of our local sights are related to history. But there are some new ones. For example, Zaryadye Park and the Sun of Moscow (a panoramic wheel).

What season is the best to visit your region, and why?

In my opinion, the best seasons to visit my region are summer and spring. To begin with, night Moscow is sure to catch your heart and other seasons aren’t suitable for seeing it. Also, autumn, winter and really cold in here. One may feel uncomfortable.

What attractions of your region would you recommend a foreigner to visit?

Personally, I’d recommend foreigners to visit the Moscow Kremlin. One can’t help admiring this fine old building with its beautiful walls.
