Under capitalism, life-saving Epi-Pens currently cost ~$350 each which makes them completely out of reach for many people. Here is a guide (based on @ 4ThievesVinegar's design) to produce ~50 re-loadable “EpiPencils” for your community using only one stimulus check. #1400Challenge

Here is a list of the parts you will need to buy and a printable sticker for attaching to each EpiPencil

AutoJect 2 Device: https://www.adwdiabetes.com/product/owen-mumford-autoject-2-non-fixed-needle_7753.htm ($27.99, reusable)

1 mL Luer Slip syringe (100-pack): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BQDRDC2/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_WJYZDCXTAWJ8J6RP1SMR ($11.99)

22G x 1" Luer Lock Hypodermic Needle (10-pack): https://www.healthykin.com//p-5048-bd-precisionglide-single-use-hypodermic-needles.aspx?gclid=CJ7v-dG2lM8CFUeBfgodMKYBxw ($10.95)

If you build any, post progress updates with the hashtag #1400challenge so we can all learn from each other. Also follow twitter.com/4ThievesVinegar, who will release an updated design of their MicroLab soon.

For only a portion of the stimulus you can transform a garage into a sick gym for the whole community to become stronger and have a great spot to hang. Let’s get swole together 💪

DECENTRALIZED NURSERY HOW-TO THREAD

Plants are powerful, whether we seek to sequester carbon or feed ourselves. They are also easy to share; one plant begets thousands by seeds or cuttings, and the gifted seedling is just the beginning of the conversation... #1400challenge

"They want to stop the seasons. But today it's spring." 1977 Autonomia poster.
"Even as the government refused to respond to an ecological and humanitarian crisis of its own making, Symbiosis PDX acted on the maxim of, “to each according to their need”, and along with indigenous partners like Fire Ignites the Spirit, quickly organized an interstate material solidarity program, delivering supplies to thousands of impacted people in rural communities."

PALLET HOUSE - #1400challenge

Sawhorse presents Pallet House, a shelter that can be quickly built in a moment of need for $1400. Faster to build than a tiny home and more durable than a tent, Pallet House is a protest camp dwelling, shelter on land, or a garden shed 🛠🌹🛠

La Commune 1871

https://cwc.im/LaCommune1871

For the 150-year anniversary of the revolutionary Paris Commune, we revisit the experimental film Peter Watkins made summoning the spirit of the Commune—a bold challenge to the role of media and an example of historical memory as a weapon.

We've embedded the film here as well, in order to keep it widely available. We invite you to watch and discuss it, to reflect on the events of the real Paris Commune, and to participate fiercely and bravely in the struggles of our own time.

"Kolkata’s wetlands are a “low-cost folk technology” 14 treating the majority of the sewage of a city with a population the size of New York. This is made possible through the development of a vast human-fish-plant ecosystem, a city-scale wastewater treatment plant that emerged through the creativity, ecological knowledge, and direction of local farming communities."
