I really want to encourage activists to park as far away from a protest meeting spot as possible and travel in as large of a group as possible. I saw on twitter tonight that an activist was pulled over by pigs TWO times tonight after leaving the SW. Please re-evaluate your security practices and stay safe! 🙏💕

"There’s been a lot of talk about making a coordinated effort for day 100 — would love to see day 100 as a day of mutual aid - where we engage in a visible concerted effort to act out what community services would look like in a police free PDX. We should plan something big where we have some people cleaning other giving supplies and connecting people to resources in our community!
—Food drive for a local food bank
—Clothing/shoe drives for houseless people and others in need
—Toy drives for kids Financial education opportunities
—Toiletry packs for houseless
—Donations of make-up / feminine products to domestic abuse shelters
—Mowing lawns / yard work for elderly folksPet food and supply drive
—Handing out socks and stuff to homeless
—walking the streets and picking up trash
—passing out flyers, give food to those that are struggling right now etc.

This is a great list! Are others interested in pursuing this kind of mass action? Should this Another World is Possible Day of mutual aid happen at a specific place in town or should it be spread out?"

Good job. You found a public channel on a public forum. It's like hacking a Facebook page.
Which brings me to my other point. If you are in a group chat on this platform, no matter how vetted it is, if you do not personally know everyone in that chat IN REAL LIFE do not talk about plans. Even if you know them, plan in person. You can aggregate public information, you can talk about a response to a thing that happened but don't plan. It's not a planning tool. Keep your private information private so you can fight another day. There are more of us than there are of them. ✊
