Obviously we're comms nerds over here at P.U.R.R., but it's true that we need to be. We are facing overt fascism. Please take some time this weekend to tighten up your digital security, to think about how you operate on social media or online may affect you. Whether you believe the elections will happen or not, whether you think Biden will win or not, we live in an age where communication can be your very best friend or the reason you get caught having thought crimes. Here are some toolkits. Take this seriously. Please. We love you and need you all to keep fighting. None of the links below should be considered infallible, some are a bit outdated, but it's all info we need to know. We keep us safe.

I think a lot can be said for a platformist approach. Instead of trying to convince everyone to be more aggressive or to support a particular method, smaller groups operating with tactical and idealogical unity can pursue the same objectives, or adjacent ones, in different ways, whilst still coordinating and working together when possible.

Anthony Huber was the man shot in the stomach last night while trying to disarm the shooter and left to bleed to death in the street by the cops. He leaves behind a daughter, girlfriend and countless more friends and family. Rest In Power Comrade

Hey folks. I’m *not a medic* but I wanted to share some basic life support (BLS) info that I am trained in for traumatic injuries. I would love if medics here could share more.
1. Take a breath & evaluate the situation. If there’s time, get a medic to aid the injured person. You may need to do some BLS until a medic can get there
2. Evaluate 3 B’s: BREATHING, BLOOD, BONES. Each is equally important to saving a life. Treat the most severe first.
Bones: Protect the spine (stabilize the head to stabilize the neck)
Breathing: rescue breathing / CPR
Blood: stop severe bleeding (pressure / tourniquet)
3. Let the person know they’re not alone and that you are getting them aid
Minutes, seconds make a difference. You can learn how to apply a tourniquet, apply pressure to wounds, and do CPR. Educate yourself now and start carrying appropriate equipment if you can.

very strongly recommend people connect BLM and this insurgency to #LandBack

We could do some more white shit and end up with a Black Army, a White Army, a Red Army, and a Green Army and replay early USSR ideological misery, or we could realize that "our streets" are stolen land, and that our best chance for making this healthy and just and survivable is to join with the people who are right here rooted in this, and imagine that future

the places I would maybe specifically call out for Indigenous connection are:
- local outreach + mutual aid (e.g., Warm Springs in Oregon)
- non-carceral justice + abolition
- food, herbalism, and other material survival practices in a given location
- stewardship, sovereignity, and governance
Indigenous Anarchism, incidentally, gives me such a feeling
